Growing up is similar to many countries where education is required and there is a mix between public, and home schooled. Most kids attend public schools until they graduate at the age of 18. In this country sports are often played and supported. we especially have good soccer teams. Most kids grow up in suburbia but there are plenty that grow up in a city and country environment. Elementary through High school learning hours last from 7:00 a.m-2:45 p.m. They have two weeks on Christmas break and the same summer(2-3 months), fall(week), and spring(week). There are 20 major colleges for the kids when they get older. All of them are moderately high rate in education. As kids grow up we have 3 huge cities filled with job opportunities. Unfortunately, this leaves many getting paid minimum wage as there jobs require little to no skill. In order to get a high paying job you will need to work your way to the top by being in a competitive market. Many struggle to make enough to raise a family ,so they get more competitive, or they are driven out to the country and work on farms. Although there are less jobs in these areas the demand is larger and housing cost less in a less desirable place to live. This can supply some people the perfect opportunity. The jobless rate in our country is 5.3%.
